About Your Practice

Why did you become a therapist?

It is an incredible privilege to enter into people’s stories with them.

What do you think is important for a client to look for in a therapist?

Clients need a therapist that they can connect with and feel heard, known, and understood. Relationship is the most valuable part of therapy.

How does your faith play itself out in your work as a therapist?

My faith gives me the strength, hope, and ability to enter into pain and tragedy with others. It really is the fuel that enables me to care for others.

I love Indelible Grace, a group that puts new music to old hymns.

A cheese and charcuterie platter with some great wine.

Other than Memphis, if you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
