As a therapist at Lakeside, I created and implemented a mindfulness-based intensive outpatient program for adolescent females with depression, anxiety and relationship issues, using yoga practice and group therapy. I also created and implemented a behavior management program that encourages adolescents to take responsibility in their recovery.
After being introduced to the Spiritual Root System, it brought new life into my personal life and changed my relationship with myself, others, and God. It also brought new life into my counseling practice and changed how I view the therapeutic process and recovery. Both of which led to my desire to work with clients at Sage Hill Counseling.

I think it is the first book I have read from beginning to end since middle school. I want to be a reader because I was told that readers are leaders, but I have a habit of starting books and becoming distracted by the next book that grabs my interest!
