I have a German Shepherd mix, Jesse. We named him after my Dad. He loved dogs and we always had German Shepherds growing up.
As a young man I memorized large portions of the scriptures including several books of the Bible.
My first real job, after lawn mowing and raking leaves was as a tire-buster at Montgomery Wards. And on the very first tire I installed I got my thumb stuck between the socket and the the wheel and crushed it!

I find the connection with people at a deep, heart level immensely satisfying. Helping people, encouraging people, and challenging people to find their hearts and keep them as well as share them with others is what God made me for.
Clients need to look for someone who will listen, not only to their story, but to their hearts and needs. Clients need to find a therapist who helps them locate themselves. If you don’t connect, look for someone else.
My faith is essential in defining not only who I am, but what I do. Though I accept people who do not share my faith, everyone has dignity and worth as a result of being created in God’s image. Therefore, everyone has the same basic needs.
I see myself continuing to do what I do but increasing my activity in training other therapists and leaders in the community to live from their hearts.
